Natures Corner

Norfolk - Planning

2025-2026

Natures Corner Cafe and Farmshop is located within The Wendling Beck Project, located to the north of Dereham in Norfolk. The project brings together landowners, conservation organisations, researchers, and investors to collaboratively design and implement a nature-positive land management model. Community engagement plays a crucial role in the project’s success, with local stakeholders, farmers, and policymakers actively involved in shaping the future of the landscape. Natures Corner will be the main commercial hub and a key access point into the Wendling Beck. It will act as the project’s public face and the point where the local community and day visitors can come together to engage and learn. This proposal is to develop a cafe  and farm shop that will increase visitor potential from a varied demographic. Visitors will be able to start their experience at Natures Corners, enjoying short family-friendly trails with vistas over the Wendling Beck project, or venture further afield on a range of trails. They will be able to buy local produce in the farm shop while learning more about landscape recovery and its impact locally.
